Deduplication modes
An external system can send a second code for a record it is already linked to, for example when the same counterparty was entered twice in the accounting system and both cards point to one record in the WMS. The Deduplication Mode of the external system decides what happens then.
Strict (STRICT)
The second code is not taken quietly. The WMS records it as a conflict, or refuses it in the import, so that someone can decide which code is the system's main one.
Relaxed (RELAXED)
The second code is accepted as an additional code of the record, without a conflict, and the import carries on. The system's main code stays as it was.
For what a recorded conflict means and how to resolve it, see Conflicts.
